Your Questions, Answered

The services listed above will work like a typical online shopping cart. You’ll have a cart and you can add items, remove items, and check out. After checking out, you’ll be directed to a questionnaire that acts as my Creative Brief where you’ll answer questions about your book including the title, a synopsis, number of pages, etc. Then I’ll be in contact and we’ll get started collaborating. It’s simple and easy.

Every cover includes a custom design built for your specific book — genre, mood, series positioning, and market fit all considered from the start. Each of the packages featured above is a bit different. My Reader Magnet package includes only a design for your ebook. The Standard package includes the ebook and paperback cover, and the Pro package includes ebook, paperback, and hardcover. All files are delivered print-ready and optimized for every major retail platform, including Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and Barnes & Noble Press.

The revision process is designed to be collaborative. Each package includes two rounds of revision and each round is a genuine conversation, not a single change per exchange. You'll receive two design concepts first, share your feedback, and the revision is built around that discussion. The goal is to arrive at something you’re happy with, but most of all, something that will work hard to sell your book. Most projects are completed within the included rounds. If something falls outside scope, that's discussed openly before any additional charges apply.

Most projects move from brief to final files in one to two weeks, assuming feedback is returned within a reasonable window. Rush timelines are available for an additional fee and depend on current availability — reach out early if you have a hard launch date. Series projects can often be batched to reduce turnaround between books.

After booking, you will be directed to a form that’s designed to help me gather everything I need to begin. If you need to tell me something additional or share images, email is the best way to do that. You don't need to arrive with a fully formed creative vision. Part of what you're hiring for is translating a manuscript's mood and themes into something that compels readers to pick it up and start reading. The more context you share, the stronger the first concept tends to be.

A strong cover does three things: it signals the right genre instantly, it holds up at thumbnail size, and it looks like it belongs on a shelf with the bestsellers in your category — while still standing out from them. Every design decision is made with those three criteria in mind. The portfolio is there to let you judge whether the work delivers on that, and I'm happy to share specific examples relevant to your genre before you commit.
